Viet Nam Service - Facts, The Wall.

I've "checked" some of these for factual base and find them true, I didn't have time to investigate them all, you be the judge. True or not, its very sobering evidence of America's fight for freedom. I used a picture of Obama to show the other side of the coin, the Anti-American.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

There are 58,267 names now listed on that polished black wall, including those added in 2010.

The names are arranged in the order in which they were taken from us by date and within each date the names are alphabetized. It is hard to believe it is 36 years since the last casualties.

Beginning at the apex on panel 1E and going out to the end of the East wall, appearing to recede into the earth (numbered 70E - May 25, 1968), then resuming at the end of the West wall, as the wall emerges from the earth (numbered 70W - continuing May 25, 1968) and ending with a date in 1975. Thus the war's beginning and end meet. The war is complete, coming full circle, yet broken by the earth that bounds the angle's open side and contained within the earth itself.

The first known casualty was Richard B. Fitzgibbon, of North Weymouth, Mass. listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as having been killed on June 8, 1956.

His name is listed on the Wall with that of his son, Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Richard B. Fitzgibbon III, who was killed on Sept. 7, 1965.

There are three sets of fathers and sons on the Wall.

39,996 on the Wall were just 22 or younger.

The largest age group, 8,283 were just 19 years old

3,103 were 18 years old.

12 soldiers on the Wall were 17 years old.

5 soldiers on the Wall were 16 years old.

One soldier, PFC Dan Bullock was 15 years old.

997 soldiers were killed on their first day in Vietnam.

1,448 soldiers were killed on their last day in Vietnam.

31 sets of brothers are on the Wall.

Thirty one sets of parents lost two of their sons.

54 soldiers on the Wall attended Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia. I wonder why so many from one school.

8 Women are on the Wall. Nursing the wounded.

244 soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War; 153 of them are on the Wall.

Beallsville, Ohio with a population of 475 lost 6 of her sons.

West Virginia had the highest casualty rate per capita in the nation. There are 711 West Virginians on the Wall.

The Marines of Morenci - They led some of the scrappiest high school football and basketball teams that the little Arizona copper town of Morenci (pop. 5,058) had ever known and cheered. They enjoyed roaring beer busts. In quieter moments, they rode horses along the Coronado Trail, stalked deer in the Apache National Forest. And in the patriotic camaraderie typical of Morenci's mining families, the nine graduates of Morenci High enlisted as a group in the Marine Corps. Their service began on Independence Day, 1966. Only 3 returned home.

The Buddies of Midvale - LeRoy Tafoya, Jimmy Martinez, Tom Gonzales were all boyhood friends and lived on three consecutive streets in Midvale, Utah on Fifth, Sixth and Seventh avenues. They lived only a few yards apart. They played ball at the adjacent sandlot ball field. And they all went to Vietnam..

In a span of 16 dark days in late 1967, all three would be killed. LeRoy was killed on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the fourth anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination. Jimmy died less than 24 hours later on Thanksgiving Day. Tom was shot dead assaulting the enemy on Dec. 7, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

The most casualty deaths for a single day was on January 31, 1968 ~ 245 deaths.

The most casualty deaths for a single month was May 1968 - 2,415 casualties were incurred.

That's 2,415 dead in a single month.

Rabble-Rousing, just for fun...

rabble-rouser (-ro̵uz′ər)

noun

a person who tries to arouse people to anger, hatred, or violent action by appeals to emotions, prejudices, etc.; demagogue

There are those that would accuse me of this and I suppose I "should" admit to it but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I do spend quite a bit of time spreading information designed to incite, arouse or just plain piss people off with the current sorry state of our government, our country and those people that have come to power.

(Note: I sometimes, inadvertently, post or refer to a piece of data that turns out to be "wrong" or even a blatant lie. For this I humbly apologize. It is NEVER my intention to spread a lie, I have found there to be just way to many truths about the Obama thuggery to ever need a lie. I just didn't get far enough in my research or trusted a source a little more than I should have.)

I want people angry but mostly I want them alert. Hatred is a wasted emotion, violent action needs to be saved for self defense and a last effort. Prejudice is unacceptable in any form, except when it is used by the left, against the right. I more than welcome this and we on the right take a battering from it. (may I have another please?)

I welcome it because it causes damage to the left, every time they play the "Race Card" and its fairly funny.

I like to point that out... just a little bit of rabble rousing (got to stay in practice) ;-)

If you step back and take a good look at what is going on RIGHT NOW, the left has turned into a collection of shrieking, paranoid little girls. Any statement made opposing the health care take over and the assault on American Liberties sends these drones into a frenzy of howling about "racism".

Why is it always "racism"? Because its the only thing their "Dear Leader" gave them. he was very careful in the beginning to make it very clear that anything said against him should be decreed "racism".

I know way to many people that submitted because they greatly fear being called a racist.

"Just Words"

Now when I speak, when I point something out that is likely to incite harsh feeling, arouse people to anger, I'm called a racist.

I found that to "become" a racist, all I had to do was exercise my rights to free speech and free choice and vote for the white guy... That's it. I weighed the choices, found Hussein Obama wanting in many many areas and chose the old white guy. I'm now a racist...

AND, a "rabble rouser".

Oh Well.

I found another term that seems to mean, in our troubled times, almost EXACTLY the same thing. A term that describes a person that uses emotion, hate, prejudices, etc to arouse strong feelings and what may become (has become lately) violent actions.

Community Organizer.

Think about it.

Liars pay the price

Air Force One crashed in the middle of rural America. Panic stricken, the local sheriff mobilised and descended on the farm in force. When they got there, the disaster was clear. The aircraft was totally destroyed with only a burned hull left smouldering in a tree line that bordered a farm.

The sheriff and his men entered the smoking mess but did not find the remains of anyone, including the President. They spotted a lone farmer ploughing a field not too far away as if nothing at all happened. They hurried over to the man's tractor.

"Hank," the sheriff yelled, panting and out of breath. "Did you see this terrible accident happen?" "Yup. Sure did." The farmer mumbled unconcernedly, cutting off his motor.

"Do you realize that is the airplane of the President of the United States?" "Yup.""Were there any survivors?" "Nope. They's all kilt straight out" the farmer answered. "I done buried them all myself. Took me most of the morning."

"President Obama is dead?" the sheriff shouted. "Well," the farmer grumbled, restarting his tractor. "He kept a-saying he wasn't... but you know what a liar he is!"

To an unexceptional world, Greetings

Greetings oh unexceptional world, from an Exceptional American.

I would like to show some sympathy, to tell you that I know how you feel, but the simple truth is, I DON'T.

You hate me, because I'm beautiful, because I'm free, because I'm "rich", because I'm American...

Because I am, we are, Exceptional.

Might just suck to be you.

Those that seem to hate us the most? Not amazingly, Europe. Over the last 250 plus years we have taken from Europe its very best, its very brightest, its Exceptional. They are ours now, and they are now, Truly Exceptional. Now, mostly, whats left in Europe is the genetic descendant of those that were to slow, to un-motivated, to cowardly or just to stupid to come HERE.

Bloodline tells the whole story.

Oh, now don't get your bloomers in a bunch, we have attracted the very best from all over the planet. There must be a reason for that. It just seems to be those that were left behind that hate us for it.

It's not like we stood on the corner and offered candy to little girls... OK, we "have" done things like that... But we didn't hold a gun to their... uh... OK... that too... Well we didn't... uh.. never mind.

Hey, being exceptional is hard work!

But lets take a quick look at what this hated, arrogant, exceptional people really means to the rest of you unexceptional types.

Many of you that are free today, even a little free, (because you will NEVER be this free) are because of the direct actions of men and women that are or were exceptional, in a country of exceptional people.

Some of you are free today, not because of anything we have recently done, but just because we ARE. Just because of our very existence. Pretty arrogant huh?

Live with it.

Then there are those of you that are alive because of the wealth and generosity of these arrogant and exceptional people. You live, your parents lived and your children will live because WE are exceptional.

Not you, WE.

Today we are a divided nation, there are those of us that are exceptional and truly BELIEVE we are and understand WHY we are and those that for reasons we just can't fathom, refuse to be exceptional. The fact that WE are exceptional was a gift to us from those that came before us. They gave and gave and gave, some gave absolutely everything, that all of us could be free. It's just that WE also became exceptional. (and you didn't) These people among us that refuse to believe, are really starting to bum the rest of us and we may ship them to you. There are still people on this rock that would be very happy to come here and be with us. (and be exceptional)
We are addressing this mess and will be right back with you.

The sorry piece of meat that is currently masquerading as our president even went as far as to fly around the world, on our money and time and apologize to YOU, because WE are exceptional... even you must be able to see... well no, I guess not...

Let me straighten that our here and now, the idiot in chief, (this guy is on the way out, forget him) had no business apologizing to anyone. We here in American owe apologies to no-one on this planet for anything we have ever done.

Frankly, being American mean never having to say "We're Sorry". With real Americans in charge, it means "We're NOT going to"

And so, yes, it really sucks to be YOU.

t

This is an unfinished work, random thoughts jotted down because I'm so sick of being maligned by half wits like Hussein Obama. I'll clean it up when words are flowing better. I'm more interested in trucking tonight.

Mr. President, YOU scare me...

This was delivered to my email just recently. I've confirmed it and so can you.

Lou Pritchett is one of corporate America's true living legends- an acclaimed author, dynamic teacher and one of the world's highest rated speakers. Successful corporate executives everywhere recognize him as the foremost leader in change management. Lou changed the way America does business by creating an audacious concept that came to be known as "partnering." Pritchett rose from soap salesman to Vice-President, Sales and Customer Development for Procter and Gamble and over the course of 36 years, made corporate history.

AN OPEN LETTER TO
PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America ' crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett.

This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it. Big surprise. Since it hit the internet, however, it has had over 500,000 hits. Keep it going. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. It's happening right now.
